VERN University lecturers and students participate in LEAP Summit lectures, discussions, and networking

 Innovation, entrepreneurship, business

Again, this year VERN 'University was the academic partner of LEAP. Our students, in addition to attending lectures, also participated in production and presentation activities.

VERN' students participated in the lecture by assistant professor Mirela Holy, Ph.D., and in fieldwork within the course Business Ethics and Culture and Management for Start-up Companies by lecturer Gordana Ćorić, M.Sc. - all these activities were connected by this year's LEAP Summit, which took place on May 12 and 13 near VERN’ at the CineStar cinema in the Branimir Mingle Mall in Zagreb.

During the two days of the Summit, our students had the opportunity to attend interesting lectures by successful entrepreneurs and experts from different fields, on three different thematic stages: LEAP Stage, Ideas & Tech Stage, and Green Stage. Professor Holy gave a lecture on the European perspective of green transition and the circular economy in front of the audience, while our colleague Slaven Škrobot, travel blogger and travel writer, gave his inspiring and motivational lecture “When impossible doesn’t exist “.

This year's edition brought together more than 60 speakers like CircuitMess co-founder Albert Gajšak, TikToker Dario Marčac, journalist and blogger Domagoj Jakopović Ribafish, UN Global Compact Executive Director for Croatia Vali Marszalek, MAMFORCE founder Diana Kobas Maškavić and many others.

Since VERN ’University was an academic partner of LEAP this year as well, our students participated in the production and presentation activities at the event:

We take this opportunity to thank them for their engagement!
