Field trip

VERN's students of tourism were introduced to the project Little Zagreb

Little Zagreb

It is a series of miniature installations set up in the busy and vibrant streets of the city.

Undergraduate students of Tourism - Tourism and Hotel Management visited the installations within the project Little Zagreb as part of their fieldwork for the course of Event Management in Tourism.

Accompanied by lecturers Nataša Jeličić and Martina Granić, doc. art., the students toured the locations where miniature installations have been set up. The tiny compositions are reminiscent of the facades of Zagreb's residential buildings and the storefronts of shops and craft workshops once common in Zagreb.

Students had the opportunity to fully experience the project since it is necessary to stop and examine the installations closely in order to discover what they represent.

During an online guest lecture the students were introduced to this project which is certainly a novelty in the tourist offer of Zagreb. Just before going out to the field, Little Zagreb was presented by the author of the project Filip Filković Philatz and project coordinator Lucija Švob, who shared their experiences and challenges in creating and implementing the project.

Students invite you to discover Little Zagreb.
