The ecological startup project of our alumni Domagoj Boljar and his brother Hrvoje won the Global Footwear Award. Domagoj and Hrvoje won the award in the global competition of multinational brands for their startup project MIRET, i.e. environmentally advanced sneakers made entirely of natural materials. As you may know, the global market has already shown great interest in these sneakers, and now this award has arrived to them as a confirmation of their quality and innovation.

The Global Footwear Award is awarded to talented footwear designers for outstanding contributions to the creation and the application of sustainable practices that inspire the entire industry. Domagoj and Hrvoje's sneakers won the 1st place in the category "Sources of Materials", gold in the category "Sources of materials/Biodegradable materials" and silver in the category "Sources of materials/Biodegradable materials" for the MIRET forest dark collection.
